Senior Product Manager

Please note that the final stage of the hiring process includes a 3–4 month contractor engagement before determining a potential full-time opportunity. We encourage candidates to apply only if they are comfortable with this arrangement.
Job Summary:
You'll own a core product area within the Ezily’s Core e-commerce orchestration. This could be syncing product catalog between marketplace platforms like Shopee and momo, bundle and inventory management, order operations, depending on where you have the most depth and where the team needs the most leverage.
This is not a coordination role. You'll run discovery to understand merchant pain deeply, define strategy for your area, write specs that engineering actually trusts, and stay close to delivery to make sure the right trade-offs are made. Engineering has momentum — your job is to give that momentum direction.
Key Responsibilities:
Discovery & Strategy
Own the "why" behind your product area — through merchant interviews, data analysis, channel partner feedback, and competitive research
Map and prioritize the biggest unmet needs across Ezily's merchant base, from single-brand SMBs to multi-channel enterprise accounts
Identify where Ezily should differentiate (e.g. bundle management, regional compliance, connector depth) versus where good-enough is good enough
Define and maintain success metrics for every initiative — not just output metrics, but outcomes that matter to merchants
Feature Delivery
Write clear, well-scoped product requirements for complex domain areas: multi-channel sync flows, bundle inventory logic, data region handling, connector behavior per platform
Be a real partner to engineering — understand the architecture well enough to have informed trade-off conversations, not just hand off requirements
Facilitate sprint planning and backlog grooming, and be accountable for keeping delivery on track
Own launches end-to-end: rollout planning, internal enablement, merchant communication, and post-launch review
Stakeholder & Ecosystem Alignment
Work closely with teams and platform partners (Shopee, Momo, etc.) to understand platform constraints and opportunities
Represent merchant needs to leadership and translate business goals into a prioritized, coherent roadmap
Collaborate with compliance and legal to navigate data privacy requirements across APAC markets (GDPR etc)
Qualification:
5+ years of product management experience, with direct ownership of a B2B SaaS or e-commerce operations product
Proven ability to run structured discovery, not just user interviews, but synthesizing signal from multiple sources into a clear point of view
Strong working knowledge of e-commerce operations: product catalog management, inventory, order management, and fulfillment workflows
Experience shipping integrations or connector-style products. You understand what it means to build reliably against third-party APIs with varying levels of consistency
Strong spec-writing skills — you've written PRDs and feature specs in complex domains that engineering actually uses
Comfortable with data: you can define metrics, interpret analytics, and challenge assumptions without needing an analyst to do it for you
Nice to Have
Familiarity with the APAC e-commerce landscape: Shopee, Lazada, Momo, PChome, Shopline, or similar platforms
Experience with headless commerce platforms (Medusa, Shopify Plus, etc.)
Understanding of data privacy regulations and how they affect product architecture (GDPR, PDPA, APPI)
Experience managing multi-region products with localization or compliance requirements
Background at a commerce enablement, marketplace, or logistics company
