Lead Full Stack Engineer

• As a Lead Full Stack Engineer at Ezily, you'll shape our technical direction and lead the development of our cutting-edge e-commerce platform while mentoring a talented engineering team.

• With autonomy to make key technical decisions and establish best practices, you'll work across frontend and backend technologies to architect scalable solutions for our marketplace channel manager system.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to drive team excellence and professional growth

• Architect and implement scalable solutions for our e-commerce platform using modern full-stack technologies

• Lead system design discussions and make key technical decisions that shape our platform's future

• Drive adoption of engineering best practices and ensure code quality through reviews and standards

• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

• Optimize system performance and ensure high availability of our marketplace platform

• Guide the team in implementing robust security measures and maintaining system reliability

• Foster an innovative engineering culture that embraces continuous learning and improvement

• Manage technical debt and drive system modernization initiatives

• Build and maintain a scalable APIs and microservices architecture

Qualifications

• Proven track record of leading and mentoring engineering teams

• Demonstrated experience in technical decision-making and system architecture

• Strong project management skills, including task prioritization and delegation

• Track record of setting technical direction and driving engineering initiatives

• Success in managing stakeholder relationships and cross-functional collaboration

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field

• Expert knowledge of frontend technologies (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3)

• Experience with React or other modern frontend frameworks (VueJS, Angular)

• Strong background in backend development using Node.js or similar technologies (Python, Ruby)

• Proficient with Git version control in professional settings

• Experience building scalable, high-performance systems

• Strong sense of ownership and eagerness to learn and grow

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork

• Self-directed with strong prioritization and execution skills

• Resilient work ethic and persistence in overcoming challenges

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus

• Experience working in a high-performance organization, ideally a tech startup

• Experience leading or actively participating in agile or lean development processes

• Demonstrated passion for technology through blog writing and knowledge sharing
